Toujeo Solostar is a long-acting insulin used to control high blood sugar in adults and children who are 6 years and older with diabetes mellitus. It is a form of insulin glargine, which is similar to human insulin but acts longer, providing a steady level of insulin in the body for a full 24 hours. Toujeo Solostar is administered via injection with a pen.
